Pemmikan Energy Bars are an amazing and unique product your active dog will appreciate and devour! These energy feed blocks contain 29% protein and 59% fat.
Pemmikan makes it possible to give your working dog a needed energy boost just before a demanding task without overfilling your dog's stomach.
Originally specifically formulated for working dogs, such as gundogs, sledge dogs and working police dogs, these bars are now used world wide for trialing dogs, too.
The maximum daily ration needed is 100 to 200 grams, depending on the size of the dog and its activity. If your dog is full of energy, the Pemmikan Energy Bar keeps out the adverse effects of the cold and heat, helping maintain constant performance throughout the day. Plus, the constant energy level will result in a far more attentive dog.
Pemmikan dog energy bars reduce the stress dogs encounter in dog shows and other similar situations, such as long waiting periods, making your dog easier to handle.
It is also an excellent product for feeding undeweight dogs without over filling the stomach.
The effect of Pemmikan sets in after approximately 30 minutes and it reaches its full effect after about. one hour. As a result, it may be advantageous to split the daily ration into several small portions to keep a constant performance. The bar is conveniently divided into eight 50gm squares similar to a bar of chocolate for ease of field feeding.
Each bar contains 400 grams.
